 The Legend Of Cabo De Rama : How Did It Get Its Name?

 

 The legend and lore of  Cabo De Rama Fort  were associated with Lord Rama, his beloved wife Sita and his brother Laxman . It is said that they sought refuge here when they got expelled from the kingdom and sentenced to a 14 years exile in the forest of India and that is how Cabo De Rama Fort got its name.

THREE KINGS CHAPEL

THREE KINGS CHAPEL If you are one who likes spooky and paranormal stuff you should visit the Three Kings Chapel in Casaulim. According to one of the legend it is said that the Chapel is haunted by the spirits of 3 Kings. The story goes that the church was governed by 3 Kings, who fought and eventually killed each other in a quest to become more powerful and be the ultimate ruler. later they were buried at the church site itself and the story goes that their spirits still roam the place, governing and protecting the Kingdom. If planning to visit the place entry after 6 pm is restricted and post sunset visitors are not allowed on the church grounds.     Late in the evening, people who have walked around have claimed to have  experienced a strong presence of sorts.
